Contact and ordering — Arthur Distributor Co.

Ordering

Order by phone at (217) 543-2166, by fax at (217) 543-2167, or by email at orders@arthurdistributor.com.

Every catalog item has a prefix, a product number and a description, for example BL-970A1002 BLUMOTION mechanism. Please give us all three so you receive exactly what you ordered. The order phone has voicemail; staff answer it in person from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m.

The items in the catalog are a popular mix of our inventory, not everything we can get. If you do not find what you need, call or email and we will research it for you.

Shipping and delivery

In-stock orders ship within 24 to 48 hours, and most orders received early in the day ship the same day.
ADC runs its own delivery service to areas of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri and Wisconsin. Ask us for the delivery schedule for your area.
Outside our delivery area, orders ship by small package or LTL carrier.
Shipments are F.O.B. shipping point, and freight is added to the invoice. Freight depends on your state and the size of the order; call us for the current freight schedule.
Most paint and finishing products ship as hazardous material, and carrier haz-mat charges may apply.

Payment and accounts

With established credit, payment is due 30 days from the invoice date. Otherwise, pay C.O.D. or by check with the order.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. A handling charge is added to orders paid by credit card.
To open an account, ask us for a credit application.

Returns and claims

All returns must be authorized by ADC first. Contact us before returning any item.
Returned stock items other than defective materials or shipping errors are subject to a restocking charge. Special-order items cannot be returned.
Report damage to the carrier right away, and shortages as soon as you receive the goods.

Sales tax

ADC collects sales tax as required by state law. If you are tax exempt, send us your completed exemption form for the state we ship to; we can provide a form if you need one.
